Congratulations on your recent installation of the RainTight Underdeck System!
The RainTight Underdeck System is made of an all aluminum material with a baked on enamel, which is very durable and colorfast.
The following information is essential to the maintenance of your new system. These steps and precautions will ensure many years of satisfaction and enjoyment ot your enhanced outdoor living space while maintaining its original beauty and avoiding unnecessary damage.
Maintenance
The RainTight Underdeck System will flush away rain that falls from above. In cases of heavy downpours, the gutter may become overloaded (the same way the gutters on your house become overloaded) due to falling leaves and debris. Please make sure to check all gutters during your regular seasonal home maintenance.
To clean occasional dirt and debris that accumulates on the panels, a garden hose is very efficient in cleaning the space.
Please note that clogged gutters are not covered under the warranty service plan. If you would like to schedule a technician to remove debris for you, please contact the office. A $249 service charge will apply.
Cleaning Products
If you use a cleaning product, please only use the following with a clean, non-abrasive cloth and light pressure only. If you apply too much pressure, you risk removing the enamel finish. Products we recommend are:
- Simple Soap
- Goof Off
Precautions
It’s important to note that regardless of durability, there are certain products and chemicals that can cause damage and/or corrosion to the aluminum panels. Please avoid the following:
- Potting Soil (above the deck that may spill down)
- Mortar/Cement/Concrete
- Stucco/Plaster
- Fireproofing Sprays
- Paint
- Oil Based Deck Stain
- Petroleum Based Products
- Alkaline or Acidic Based Materials
- Pet Urine/Feces
- Grease Drippings or Heat from Grills, Laundry Vents,
and Hot Tubs

In the rare occurrence that your system appears to have developed a leak, please contact us to schedule an inspection. Please note a $249 inspection fee will apply if the product is out of warranty.
Cleaning of the RainTight System and Gutters is a service charge of $249. Please contact our office to schedule an appointment.
